The Shakespeare Inn is over 200 years old situated in the heart of the world heritage site of the Ironbridge Gorge, and within easy walking distance to the Coalport China Museum, the Blists Hill Museum, the Maws Craft Centre and the famous Ironbridge itself.

We have recently been awarded runner up in the Best Pub and Restaurant of the Year by the Shropshire magazine.  The Shakespeare offers a wide range of meals to include English, Mediterranean and European dishes with an extensive wine list.  All our bar and restaurant area is non smoking.  We have added a conservatory extension which offers a smoking area and disabled toilet facilities.

For the discerning beer enthusiast, we are a member of CAMRA and serve a selection of real ales changing daily.  We have a very large three tiered beer garden incorporating a children’s play area with views over the Gorge and  River Severn.
