ACCESS STATEMENT
ARRIVAL
There is a free public parking facility adjacent to the pub.
Disabled access to the pub can be made through the front door
and also through double doors into the conservatory.
PUBLIC AREAS
We have a bar with a seating area of around 20 together with a
large dining area seating approximately 40. There is additional
dining of around 30 places in our conservatory which
incorporates a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.
Other public toilets can be found next to our restaurant.
GROUNDS AND GARDENS
To the front of the pub we have a slate paved patio area seating
approximately 25 with disabled access through a gate. Our rear
garden, children’s play area and all guest accommodation are
accessed by two sets of steps. One set of steep steps which
ascend from the conservatory (during opening hours only, not
suitable for the disabled) and a set of 13 graduating steps
from the left hand side of the building, also not suitable
for disabled persons. There is a small seated smoking area
to the side of the conservatory.
ACCOMMODATION
We have in total four double en-suite rooms, two of which can be
made into twin rooms and one which is larger with a set of bunk
beds for children under the age of sixteen, which we class as
our family room.
All rooms are accessed at the rear
of the pub by two sets of steps (not suitable for disabled
persons). All rooms have wooden floors, central heating and
storage space which usually consists a wardrobe, chest of
drawers and bedside cabinet. The en-suites comprise a shower
cubicle, wash basin and toilet. Accommodation is available
from 12.00 noon and guests are kindly requested to leave their
rooms on the day of departure at no later than 10.30am.
